This is a gently used copy of Deodato's 8th studio album, Prelude, originally released in 1973. It includes the signature track "Also Sprach Zarathrustra (2001)" - an arrangement of the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey, as well as "September 13" which features a legendary break beat used in many classic hip hop songs. This went on to become Deodato's most successful recording for CTI records. It also includes guitarist John Tropea, bassists Ron Carter and Stanley Clarke, and Billy Cobham on drums.
