It is considered a landmark album in the funk/jazz fusion genre of the 1970s. It is also considered the group's most spiritual and sophisticated album, consisting of 9 songs that were to represent the 9 planets in the solar system. It includes the single, "Summer Madness" which has been popularly sampled by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince for their smash hit, "Summertime".
